Taylor
Owner & Professional Pet Groomer | The Emerald Pet
Hi, I’m Taylor! I’m the proud owner of The Emerald Pet, where my lifelong love for animals has turned into a career and business that I’m incredibly passionate about.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I feel fortunate to have built a career around something I genuinely love. As a professional pet groomer and business owner, I’m dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and comfortable environment where every pet is treated like family. I believe grooming is about so much more than just making dogs look pretty. It’s about their health, comfort, well-being, and building trust with each pet that walks through our doors.
I’m passionate about continuing my education, improving my skills, and staying up to date with the latest grooming techniques, products, and industry standards. I strive to provide the highest quality of care while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
When I’m not at The Emerald Pet, you’ll most likely still find me surrounded by animals! I’m an avid horse lover and barrel racer, and I spend much of my free time at the barn caring for my horses, training, and competing. I’m also involved in the world of dog sports, particularly agility, where I enjoy training and competing with my own dogs. Whether I’m in the grooming salon, running barrels, or working through an agility course, animals are truly at the center of everything I do.
Being a business owner has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. I’m incredibly proud of what The Emerald Pet has become and the team I’ve built along the way. My goal is to continue growing a business that pet owners can trust, where education, quality care, compassion, and the well-being of every animal always come first.
Thank you for supporting my dream and allowing me and my team to love and care for your pets. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for The Emerald Pet!

Maddy
Professional Dog Groomer | The Emerald Pet
Hi, I’m Maddy! Grooming is something I’m truly passionate about. Growing up, my family always had at least two dogs, which is where my love for them began! Today, I have three dogs of my own who I love spending time playing and cuddling with when I’m not at the grooming salon.
My favorite dogs to groom are doodles! My own doodle, Daisy, is one of my favorite pups to work on because I love seeing how cute and fluffy she looks after a fresh groom.
One of the things I find most rewarding about grooming is seeing the excitement on an owner’s face when they see their freshly groomed pup. I also love knowing that each dog leaves feeling clean, comfortable, and looking their best!
I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members at The Emerald Pet!

Katie
Professional Dog Groomer | The Emerald Pet
Becoming a dog groomer has always been a dream of mine! With a love for both dogs and art, grooming is the perfect way to combine two of my biggest passions. I love helping dogs look and feel their best while getting to express my creative side!
While I always enjoy a good deshedding session, some of my favorite breeds to groom are Standard Poodles and Poodle mixes. I love the creativity and endless styling possibilities they offer!
My career working with dogs began in canine training, where I developed a deeper understanding of dog behavior and handling. My passion for training also led me to get involved in dog sports with my own dogs. After several years of training, I decided to take the leap into grooming so I could turn my lifelong love for dogs into a full-time career.
I’m excited to continue growing as a groomer and building relationships with all the wonderful dogs and their families at The Emerald Pet!
